A lifestyle and fashion blog with a little bit of chic, a drop of glamour and a lot of love!
Fashion is my passion always has been always will be. I am interested in many other things but nothing will pique my interest like the wonderful world of fashion.
I covet Christian Loboutin, dream of Dior, fantasize about Fendi and long for Lanvin.
The past 5 years I have gone from a fashionista to a recessionista. I have learnt to wait and watch for sales, discounts and flash sales. All my hours of cruising the internet lead to me receiving a large quantity of daily emails with great deals which I will now share with you . Some last a few hours, some a few days. My goal with So Says Simone is to have a daily post with what I find to be the best sales for that day. So check early and check often and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
TIP: Here is what I only learnt recently about these sale sites and dept store sale emails-the best items are on the last page or the bottom. You see the retailer/manufacturer puts the items that aren’t selling the best first since most people dont have the time or patience to scroll through the entire list of items so this way they can sell the least popular items first. So next time you are on Gilt.com or Bloomingdale’s.com skip to the last item and go through the items from last to first. Happy shopping!

Here is a great offer from Best Buy that I found in my inbox this morning. You have to be a reward zone member but its free to join you can just go onto http://www.bestbuy.ca or into any best buy and sign up there. Once you are a reward zone member they will send you an email with a code for registering online for the bidding.
I have found that the major retailers, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks etc all have a surplus of merchandise and know people aren’t buying full retail anymore; so they have deals every week. Some better than others but still better than paying full price. They have also started a points program called :
” Bloomingdales Loyalist” sign up is free online and the best deals are sent to those who are loyalists.
Heres the lowdown on the program:
Lastly, here’s one of the latest deals from Bloomingdale’s.
If you are like me and don’t buy cosmetics regularly but stock up once or twice a year this is a great time to do your buying. Right now online and in Bloomingdale’s stores through Sunday Oct 21st you get triple points on cosmetics and fragrances. You also get with $125 purchase a free roomy weekender bag with samples. Now I usually am not one for the bags and giveaways that stores give but this one looks pretty darn nice and I can always use an extra bag for getaways or even for the gym. Lastly, there is free shipping with any online purchase of $50 or more. (fyi-this deal only is good in the USA.)
Let me know if you get any good buys or know of any good sales and I will post them here as well.
